WHY BLACK WOMAN INDEPENDENT THOUGHT IS SO IMPORTANT

black gurl magic

While growing up in the South in the 90s & 2000s, the way black thought was set up you would have thought you were still living in Jim Crow.  Passive aggressive mentalities ran rampant and being a submissive weak bitch was the way to be. If not that if you were black if you were like everyone else you were bullied, judged, or brow beat (brow beating is insulting someone & laughing at the same time)

Growing up in Houston, it was a diverse melting pot of many ethnicities but like in most Southern black low income areas if you are not acting like the quintessential, ignorant tough acting black person, you were picked on by black people.  The conditions were worse the further South I had to move & the smaller environment got.  Country black people are the most disrespect, judgmental, hypocritical, low moral people you will ever met in your life. Its not like the movies where you see country people are trying to be kind & are naïve.  These country people are evil, will plot & scheme on you, & clap on your downfall! So beware! That Southern hospitality is a bunch of bullshit!!

Anywho, being suppressed for being different, being intelligent, being cultured, having an elevated consciousness, staying in my lane not coming for anyone grew me into the woman I am today. All I want to do is scream my opinions to the mountain, live unapologetically, and the way I want to live. But it has also scarred me. I’m not a big fan of human interaction & I trust no one.

Also, if we go on & on about the past of black women having your own opinion & thought process different from the masses has always been frowned upon.  (Except maybe the Harlem Renaissance- shout out to Zora Neale Hurston-one of my favs)

It’s important to me bc ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted to be defined by my intellectual. Yes beauty is important & it is power but it is not everything.  When your pretty people hold you up to an unnecessary standard based on what’s in their perverse minds.  Most men view pretty woman as some type of sexual object they can get their rocks off & throw away like yesterday’s trash & they get great pleasure & power in that as well.

A woman defined by her intellect knows where true power lies.  True power lies in thought and how you manifest that thought.  And when you have your own power & are aware of your power no one can oppress you are control you.

Depending on someone 100% of your mind & your emotions will leave you powerless everytime.

BLACK PEOPLE (ESP BLACK MEN) HATING ON CARDI B IS DISGUSTING & EMBARRASSING TO ME AS A BLACK WOMAN

It is quite disgusting how hard the people have been coming for Cardi B (esp. black men).  Like what did she do wrong?

She got her bag.  Stayed in her lane.  Worked her ass off.  And didn’t hate & won.  I mean what did you want her to do?

And to constantly bash a woman or person about her past is just insane.  Jay-Z sold fuckin crack but look at him now! Everybody has a past!  Most black people come from the struggle or humble beginnings.  We cry & say to the world how white people do us then turn around & shit on a woman who is a part of us.  Smh  Plus we judge & we refuse to have sympathy or look beyond the surface esp when it comes to a woman (I see both black men & women do this).

Then its hundreds of other famous, young, wack male rappers who literally sound like their taking shits on tracks, who beat women, who publicly brag about doing drugs, & publicly do lewd ask but everybody’s quiet.  I’m so tired of beyond fucked up actions of men then they take no accountability of their actions, & then constantly bully & demoralize women for the 1% compared to the 100% to what they do.

I also despise the black women who also talk shit about Cardi & join forces with the men to demoralize another woman.  This continues the toxic pattern of men doing the fucked up things they do, not feeling like they do anything wrong, & then demoralizing women.

Another thing I want to get on that really upsets me.  How people so Cardi is not educated or intelligent.  She’s bilingual (she speaks multiple languages) you dumb fucks!  That’s a big difference!

Cardi B has stayed in her lane.  She has not bothered anyone.  She is an inspiration.  Like she says in Get up 10, “I’M NOT TELLING YALL TO DO IT, I’M JUST TELLING MY STORY.”  Just because you don’t subscribe to her lifestyle doesn’t make your beliefs or how you do things right & it doesn’t make you better.  If you subscribe to a religious institution that tells you to love & not judge & you condemn Cardi B, you ain’t shit & are a scum of a person.  Ur merely using ur religion as an ego pedestal to fill like ur above & shit on someone AKA OPPRESS THEM!

It kills me how black people kill me when we turn into the moral police.  Everybody hoes (men & women), black men constantly praise hoes & strippers but be quick to condemn, black men judge women by standards they don’t even have. TF

The older I get & the more bullshit I see people do I realize just as much accountability black people want from white people, we need to hold that upon ourselves.  Its just sounds silly how we cry about the white man but it’s nothing for us to shit & oppress our own like its nothing.

HOW WE GOIN WIN WHEN WE AIN’T RIGHT WITHIN?

NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF NIGGADOM!?: SNOOP DOGG NOMINATED FOR GOSPEL AWARD LESS THAN 1 YR AFTER HE MAKES AN ALBUM ABOUT CRIPPING & BLACK PEOPLE PRAISE HIM!

snoop-dogg-gospel

Black people know who to give they picks & choses to, don’t they? Lol

Last week Snoop Dogg posted on his Instagram account, that he had been nominated for the BET’s Best Gospel album.  Tf?

I’m not one to call out someone on what views they subscribe to & what they do with their life.  But I am quick to call out a hypocrite!

This nomination comes weeks after he came for THE GOD KANYE WEST head on social media bc of Kanye’s public love for Trump.

Me being a Kanye fan & an elevated conscious thinker myself, I had a hard time understanding why so many black people were coming at a man for his choice & his opinion.  I also felt Kanye made a lot of good & positive points to the people which made it more wild to me why people would even come for him.

Anyways, during this time Snoop took it upon himself to demoralize Kanye thro a series of social media post.

When did the guy who was the pioneer of Gangsta Rap & glorifying hood & ghetto life, a black man who is responsible for the denigration of young black man hood, & a man who made it popular to call even decent women BITCHES & HOES, become the moral police all of sudden?

And yes people change but this man came out with a “crip” album less than a year before his gospel album!  I get it people can be spiritual & possibly gangsta at the same time but u don’t get the right to judge someone bc they don’t think how u think.

Snoop also made it popular to be urself, whether that be a drughead or whatever.  But once someone doesn’t go along with what u want them to believe ur casting him to the fire. Tf? That’s awfully critically of u.

Plus, Kanye said in his interview with Charlagmane the God that Snoop was friends with Trump but once he got in the white house & it became a wave & a trend to hate Trump, Snoop jumped right on. (In Snoop’s recent breakfast club interview, he didn’t deny this & he even admitted to doing business with Trump)

At the end of the day I can’t hate Snoop but I can’t take him serious as a human being.  I also categorize him just like a lot of brainwash black folk & black Christians.  Quick to call someone out on what they fill is they bullshit or “wrongs” but NEVER checking their own. SMH

TOP 5 REASONS BLACK PEOPLE CAN’T & WON’T GET ALONG WITH OTHER BLACK PEOPLE

  1. WE DEFINE OUR BLACKNESS AS THE SOME AS ANOTHER BLACK PERSON’S BLACKNESS
  2. WHEN WE DON’T AGREE WITH SOMEONE’S POINT OF VIEW (EVEN IF THER NICE) WE BULLY & INSULT THEM
  3. WE ARE OBSESSED WITH “OUTDOING” OR COMPETING WITH ANOTHER BLACK PERSON INSTEAD OF UNIFYING
  4. WE CONSTANTLY JUDGE & ASSUME THINGS ABOUT OTHER BLACK PEOPLE WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THE OTHER PERSON
  5. BLACK PEOPLE ROB & KILL THEIR OWN INSTEAD OF GETTING A JOB OR PUTTING IN WORK & MAKING LONG TERM SACRIFICES.  WE WANT FAST MONEY!

HAS THE SYSTEM BECOME THE BOOGIE MAN? IS IT JUST A FIGMENT OF BLACK PEOPLE’S IMAGINATION NOW?

I’m quite aware that my ancestors experienced racism by racist whites & non blacks.  I am aware that it still goes on to this day.

The main difference I see in my generation is lack of unifying against blacks & lack of economic progress when at this point is ridiculous resources & information are literally everywhere.  There are numbers of successful blacks with inspiring stories of beating the odds such as Oprah & Jay-Z.

My daily observation through social media (because I am very mindful of MY human interactions-have to protect my energy) you see black people constantly pointing the finger at white people & the past & on the far extreme side you see black people bullying other black people just for different opinions & views.

If we keep pointing the finger at white people for the past & bully our own, are we hypocrites? YES

Ever since coming to Chicago & finding knowledge of self & reading a book, “What you say when your talking to yourself,” changed me forever.  It taught me that the only person that can stop you from your success is you.

Holding on to the stigma of “Its the white man’s fault” is hurting us & is indeed mental slavery.  Haven’t you learned anything from ur religious institutions (What God has for you no man can take that away).  Words are powerful & if ur constantly blaming someone for ur life & not actually take risks & put in the work, ur failure is ur fault.

For a long time, we collectively as people have looked for somebody to save us (bc of religion) & have gotten into the habit of blaming are failures on others before we make the decision to even try to succeed.

I’m a spiritual person but I’m also a realist as well.  If we bash & bully are own then turn around & cry victim to society–aren’t we creating bad karma for ourselves?

At this point in our generation, it starts with us & until we do something about it we will (collectively) forever be stuck as the conquered.

frances speaking facts

PLUS WE NEED TO REALIZE WE ARE NOT THE ONLY RACE THAT HAS STRUGGLED! SO MANY GROUPS OF RACES HAVE BEEN DEMORALIZED LIKE US! BUT UNLIKE US THEY TOOK THEIR STRUGGLES & BUILT THEMSELVES UP STRONGER THAN BEFORE (THE GERMANS FOR EXAMPLE) LET’S TAKE OUR STRUGGLES & BUILD OURSELVES UP TO WHO WE REALLY ARE… GREATNESS!
